Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a Physician Assistant to autonomously and collaboratively treat and manage patient health problems across settings, including research and community advocacy. The PA will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and illness management, and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include developing care plans within physician scope, using prescriptive authority under protocols, and contributing to professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant training program and NCCPA-certified.
• Current license by the state they practice; eligible for prescription privileges; BLS certification.
• Computer literate and proficient with clinical systems.

Responsabilités

• Develops a care plan within scope of practice utilizing protocols to ensure quality patient care.
• Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories per laws and regulations.
• Interacts with peers and contributes to professional development; provides clinical leadership.
