Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Successfully completed NCCPA certification exam.
• Current license to practice in the state with prescriptive privileges and BLS.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as PA in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care within scope of practice of the physician assistant utilizing written protocols to ensure quality patient care.
• Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations.
• Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
• Provides clinical leadership.
• Supports lifelong learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
