Job summary

The role requires at least 1 year of clinical PA experience, completion of an accredited PA program, and current PA licensure with BLS. Computer literacy is expected, and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical experience functioning in Physician Assistant role in a primary care setting
• Current license by the state they practice. Eligible for or have BLS
• Knowledge of state/federal laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care within scope of practice of the physicians assistant utilizing written protocols to ensure quality patient care
• Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations
• Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues
