Qualifications

• US Citizenship required or eligible under VA policy.
• English language proficiency required for appointment.
• Certification required for positions above the full performance level (PTCB/CPhT or ExCPT).
• Education or Experience: None required for qualification.
• Knowledge of pharmacy principles and regulatory requirements is expected.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure safe, accurate distribution of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain workflow and documentation to support timely pharmacy services.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation and computer systems (e.g., VistA, CPRS, BCMA).
• Assist with inventory control and controlled substances accountability.
• Provide patient-focused care and triage refill requests and questions.
