Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our post-acute care team in Austin, Texas. This full-time role involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support, autonomy, and earning potential.

Coverage includes the Austin area (Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock) with a compensation range of $146,494 to $173,793 annually. You will work with an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care at pivotal moments,

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (Texas) and DEA registration.
• Post-acute, acute, ED or clinic experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundations and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including histories and exams.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans basing on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians in a team-based approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
