Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in network automation, DevOps/SRE, or operations engineering in telecom, networking, or satellite ground-segment environments.
• Experience building automated test frameworks to replace manual validation at scale.
• Experience defining and lifecycle-managing hardware/software SKUs and acceptance criteria.
• Strong Python/Go or similar language skills; IaC, event-driven systems, workflow automation, data engineering, ML, AIOps, autonomous remediation, digital twins, and policy-driven operations.

Responsibilities

• Define, lifecycle-manage, and document the NAS and NCC SKUs within the Gateway.
• Design and build automated test frameworks and scripts for Gateway subsystems.
• Drive pre- and post-deployment validation against golden configurations and baselines.
• Partner with RF, hardware, and software teams to align test plans and criteria.
• Enable end-to-end visibility and management of the Gateway with OSS teams.
• Automate repetitive operating and engineering tasks and build remediation workflows.
• Integrate telemetry with decision engines and develop predictive failure models.
• Create automated incident triage and digital representations of network state.
• Establish guardrails for AI-driven actions and digital twins governance.
• Measure automation coverage and reduce manual touch.
