Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking Software Engineer II/III to join our Sea Systems team, developing autonomy solutions for unmanned surface vehicles, including autonomous control, advanced payload integration, vision systems, and related technologies.

You will contribute across the product lifecycle—from concept development to lab and field testing—designing, simulating, and integrating software on embedded platforms while collaborating on a multi-disciplinary team with opportunities for leadership and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/CE or related field with 3+ years’ experience (or equivalent).
• C/C++ or Java programming experience; Unix-based development environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems on current and next-gen Sea Vehicle products.
• Participate in software development across all product lifecycle phases.
• Develop software at component, subsystem and system levels including embedded control and UI.
• Collaborate in a multi-functional team; opportunities for leadership roles.
• Provide offsite integration and test support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
