Applied Intuition is seeking a Field Test Engineer for Autonomous Systems to conduct on‑water testing of autonomous surface vehicles. You will execute sorties, monitor systems, collect data, and deliver actionable findings to the engineering team, bridging R&D and mission-ready capabilities.

The role requires hands-on vessel work, offshore exposure, and travel up to 30%, with flexibility for offshore deployments. A U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years in test, integration, or field operations of complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with autonomous or unmanned systems testing in a relevant domain.

Aufgaben

• Execute on-water test events for autonomous surface vehicles aboard test and chase vessels.
• Support pre-underway checkouts, launch/recovery, and pier-side prep of test vessels.
• Operate autonomy systems during tests and maintain safety on deck.
• Collect and perform first-pass analysis of test data for each sortie.
• Identify and triage discrepancies using Jira with engineering teams.
• Contribute to test plans, procedures, and readiness reviews.
