Job summary

Local Infusion seeks an Infusion Nurse to provide direct patient care at our center in Emerson, NJ. This role emphasizes autonomy, IV starts, and complex biologic therapies, with a patient-to-clinician ratio of 3:1.

The ideal candidate holds NJ RN licensure, outpatient infusion experience, and strong EHR skills; ACLS/PALS are preferred, BLS required. Expect a collaborative, growth-focused environment with predictable hours.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in New Jersey and open to getting licensure in another state.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, clinical setting, multiple patients per shift.
• Comfortable working autonomously; inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift.
• ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred).
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Excellent IV skills; infusion therapy experience a plus.
• Experience and familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient.
• Deliver infusions or injections per prescribed protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Communicate with referring/prescribing providers about patient status and plan.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
