Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
Must have an active California RN license.
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months of hire date.
Minimum two (2) years of recent acute care RN experience in adult ICU.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities.
Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, physicians, and patients verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with team members.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to critical care patients using the nursing process.
Develop and implement treatment plans as requested.
Promote self-care through education.
Organize and maintain clinic equipment and supplies.
Support care in a 13-bed ICU/Coronary Contained Unit with physician collaboration.
