Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced Home Health RN to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across Summit and Eastern Medina counties, focusing on short-term recovery. The role requires autonomous practice, strong assessment skills, and a commitment to high-quality in-home care.

Responsibilities include wound care, IV therapy, lab draws, and education of patients and families. A BSN is preferred, valid Ohio RN license, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1+ years of RN experience.
• 1+ year in acute Medical/Surgical or Home Care setting.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide patients through a short-term intermittent recovery process.
• Perform lab draws including peripheral sticks and central line draws.
• Provide wound care with measurements and documentation.
• Administer IV medications including IV antibiotics and IV push meds.
• Support patients in Summit and Eastern Medina counties (Medina, Brunswick, Akron).
• Participate in on-call, weekend and holiday requirements.
• Collaborate with a team to coordinate home-based patient care.
• Utilize mobile documentation and technology to deliver high-quality care.
