Job summary

PT Near Me in Florida is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home, one-on-one therapy. You’ll schedule visits, follow a PT-driven plan, and deliver skilled treatment in patients’ homes, with autonomy and flexible hours.

You’ll work as a 1099 contractor with per-visit pay, and you’ll handle scheduling while our intake/back-office supports administration. Florida-licensed PTAs preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.
• Your own professional liability insurance.
• AHCA Level 2 background screening.
• Home health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule visits directly with your own patients.
• Follow the treatment plan written by the supervising PT — the PT creates and updates the plan of care.
• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
