Job summary

Solidus Resources, LLC is seeking an on-site Command Operator to manage CAT MineStar Command for Hauling and the autonomous haulage fleet at the Spring Valley project in Lovelock, Nevada.

Working from the control room, you will direct the fleet in real time, assign trucks, monitor system health, respond to alarms, and ensure the plan is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production goals.

This shift-based role requires strong safety focus and quick decision-making.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in mine engineering, robotics or autonomous systems is an asset.
• Experience: 3+ years in open-pit mining or autonomous operations environment.
• Certified competent, or eligible for certification, on CAT MineStar Command for Hauling; assess against competency matrix.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize the plan in real time, directing the autonomous fleet to meet production goals.
• Monitor truck assignments, cycles, traffic, and system health; respond to alarms and faults as they arise.
• Lead safety practices in control operations and adhere to the authorization matrix for cycles and shutdowns.
• Log issues, escalate, and ensure accurate shift handovers and documentation.
