Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Tucson is seeking a Controls Engineer to support the integration, testing, and validation of autonomous truck control systems in lab and field environments.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and controls issues, develop test plans, analyze data, and collaborate with software, controls, mechanical, and systems teams. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience preferred; visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in controls engineering, systems integration, testing, validation, or product development.
• Experience with autonomous systems, vehicle controls, embedded systems, or off-highway equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and validation for autonomous truck control systems in lab and field environments.
• Execute lab and field testing to verify system performance, functionality, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and controls issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain test plans, validation procedures, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with software, controls, mechanical and systems engineering teams.
