Job summary

Ortholonestar is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation in Kingwood, TX. You will help patients restore functional skills and relieve pain in a patient-centered, autonomous, team-oriented clinic.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Texas OT license and eligibility to practice in Texas.
• 1–2 years of upper-extremity or hand therapy experience preferred; outpatient orthopedic/hand therapy desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a team and manage caseload.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient records to develop tailored upper-extremity treatment plans.
• Conduct evaluations of ROM, strength, sensation, coordination, and function.
• Deliver interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic activities, strengthening, splinting, modalities, and home exercise.
• Fabricate and adjust custom orthoses/splints.
• Document care and progress per clinic policies and state regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTs, and care team for coordinated treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and ergonomic strategies.
• Supervise OTAs, technicians, and students.
• Participate in clinic operations and community outreach.
