Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled, autonomous Gastroenterology Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient GI team. The NP will collaborate with board-certified Gastroenterologists to manage acute and chronic GI and hepatic disorders in the inpatient setting.

Qualified candidates will have an MSN or DNP, Texas APRN license, AGACNP or FNP certification, and 1–2 years of GI inpatient or acute hospitalist experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited NP program.
• Active Texas APRN license or eligibility.
• Board certification (AGACNP or FNP) with acute care experience.
• 1–2 years GI inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GI physicians to manage inpatient GI/hepatic disorders.
• Provide autonomous patient-centered care in an acute hospital setting.
• Utilize EHRs to document and coordinate care for GI inpatients.
