Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to develop and test flight autonomy capabilities across Group 1–5 aerial platforms.

You will integrate core GNC algorithms into our software and product stacks, collaborating with teams across the company to enable autonomous flight in commercial and defense contexts. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing GNC software for autonomous systems.
• Experience in C++ or Python and autonomy algorithms.
• Experience with outer-loop control or path planning.
• Experience modeling and simulating 3DoF/6DoF air vehicles.
• Flight testing and data analysis experience.
• Experience with UAS GNC/navigation like PixHawk/ArduPilot.
• Strong programming skills (Git, VS Code, GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Write software that operates real autonomous aircraft systems including F16 jets and UAVs, plus simulations.
• Build and improve autonomy software architectures deployed on real systems.
• Collaborate with DoD experts and vendors to integrate autonomy software onto OEM hardware.
