CyberCoders, Inc. seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a well-established practice serving Pierce and King County.

You will manage your own caseload with strong paralegal and administrative support behind you, ensuring effective advocacy for clients in divorce, custody, and support matters. The role emphasizes drafting pleadings, presenting cases at hearings and trials, developing parenting plans, and maintaining ethical compliance.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Washington.
• Minimum 3 years of family law experience or substantial family law experience for mid-level candidates.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and court documents; strong advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation in family law matters including divorce, custody, and support.
• Draft, file, and respond to pleadings, motions, stipulations, and agreements.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, settlements, and trials; advocate effectively in court.
• Develop parenting plans and child support proposals aligned with client needs and law.
• Collaborate with clients to set expectations and provide case updates.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation or collaborative law.
• Conduct legal research to support strategy and drafting.
• Manage caseload and maintain accurate files and billing records.
• Interview witnesses and coordinate with experts as needed.
• Ensure ethical compliance and maintain client confidentiality.
