Skydio, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to contribute to firmware and driver development for drones and accessories. The role involves hands-on work with microcontrollers, bare metal/RTOS code, and integration with cameras, radios, and sensors.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a junior, senior, or MS-level student with experience in device-level embedded software or firmware.

Formación

• Firmware/embedded code for a physical device
• C++ in embedded systems
• Python for testing
• Readable schematics and use of debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter)
• Bonus: embedded Linux userspace/kernel development
• Bonus: ARM assembly code knowledge

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement the embedded software for the drone and accessory lines (e.g. Skydio Dock)
• Characterize, integrate, and validate key subsystems (cameras, radios, flight controllers)
• Bring up and debug new hardware
• Write interfaces and drivers for sensors, cameras, and other devices
