Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in vehicle testing, automotive technology, or prototype systems validation.
• High School Diploma required; degree in Automotive Technology or Engineering preferred; ASE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Jira, Linux terminal, GitHub, and automotive diagnostic hardware.
• Hands-on with wiring, sensor installation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow multi-step instructions for repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive test routes and maneuvers based on engineering test plans.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to perform software updates, module flashing, and configuration changes.
• Identify and document software defects in Jira and manage bug lifecycles.
• Test and validate prototype firmware across platforms and maintain instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues and escalate clear reproduction steps.
• Monitor onboard data logging and gather diagnostic data via Linux commands.
• Oversee small shifts or groups, coaching teammates for safety and efficiency.
• Drive test vehicles for long-distance missions and travel up to 20% with rotating schedules.
