Job summary

Durin is seeking its first Drilling Operations Manager to lead field operations for a novel diamond drilling platform. You will establish procedures, troubleshoot in real-world conditions, and maintain safety and reliability across crews and clients.

You will coordinate multiple field teams, drive performance, and feed learnings back to engineering and operations leadership while ensuring continuous, high-quality communication and rapid mobilization when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in drilling operations and field execution.
• Experience leading crews in challenging environments with accountability.
• Strong focus on safety systems, incident prevention and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end field execution on a novel diamond drilling platform.
• Translate drilling knowledge into effective, real-world procedures.
• Enforce strict safety systems across crews and operations.
• Coordinate multiple field teams and communicate with clients and leadership.
• Develop reporting and metrics to improve safety, productivity and reliability.
• Identify issues in real time and implement corrective actions.
