Job summary

Synechron is seeking an AI-Driven Data Profiling Engineer to support a PoC focused on profiling MGA BDX data through an autonomous agent workflow. You will work closely with data profiling specialists and data consumers to refine outputs and accelerate onboarding of MGA programs into the BDX platform and enterprise data hub.

The role involves refining the autonomous workflow, improving profiling outputs, and ensuring results meet downstream needs, with base salary in New York, NY of $120k-$130k

Qualifications

• Strong background in the insurance industry.
• Experience with Managing General Agents (MGAs) and/or insurance distribution data.
• Understanding of BDX data and insurance onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with insurance data structures (policy, premium, claims, exposure).
• Experience with data used for insurance operations, reporting, underwriting, or enterprise data platforms.
• Data analysis and data profiling experience.
• Ability to interpret complex, semi-structured data sources.
• Experience defining profiling rules and data quality metrics.
• Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata, mappings, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Refine and enhance the autonomous agent workflow for MGA BDX data profiling.
• Collaborate with data profiling teams and business data consumers to define profiling requirements and outputs.
• Review and improve the behavior and outputs of the Kiro agents.
• Support discovery and extraction of PMA-related information from MGA BDX data.
• Develop and refine profiling plans for MGA programs.
• Run the profiling workflow across a backlog of ~80-100 MGA programs.
• Identify data quality issues and structural variations.
• Improve workflow based on profiling cycle findings.
• Validate profiling results with reviewer-agent and human review processes.
• Ensure profiling outputs are clear and actionable for downstream teams.
• Provide profiling results to onboarding teams for the BDX management platform and enterprise data hub.
• Maintain documentation of profiling rules and workflow changes.
• Help define dashboards, metrics, and reporting for profiling progress.
