You will appear in court prepared, manage a caseload with confidence, and communicate clearly with clients while taking ownership of cases.

You will have strong paralegal support, weekly case staffing, access to AI-powered tools, ongoing training, and a clear path to take on more complex matters as you grow.

Qualifications

• This position requires a JD from an accredited law school, active bar status in Arizona, and a minimum of three years of criminal defense or prosecution experience.
• Experience handling Arizona misdemeanor and lower-level felony matters and meaningful courtroom exposure are essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate independence with caseload management while collaborating with a paralegal and law firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in misdemeanor and lower-level felony cases from initial appearance through trial, sentencing, or resolution.
• Independently manage an active criminal caseload with strategic planning.
• Evaluate evidence and identify legal and factual issues to develop case strategies.
• Draft motions and pleadings, conduct legal research, and prepare for hearings and trials.
• Communicate clearly with clients, negotiate with prosecutors, and maintain credible relationships with court personnel.
