Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active State Bar Arizona.
• Minimum of three years criminal defense or prosecution experience.
• Meaningful courtroom experience.
• Ability to manage full caseload and deadlines.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in misdemeanor and lower-level felony cases from initial appearance through trial.
• Independently manage an active criminal caseload with deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions and pleadings.
• Prepare for pretrial conferences, hearings, trials, and sentencing.
• Negotiate with prosecutors and maintain professional relationships.
• Collaborate with paralegal and attend weekly staffing meetings.
