Job summary

Whipps Cross Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and dynamic team. You will work autonomously to deliver high quality OT interventions across wards, outpatient departments and patients’ homes.

You will assess and treat a wide variety of patients, provide individual and group education, and arrange assistive devices and minor home adaptations across specialties including respiratory, neuroscience, stroke, trauma and hand

Qualifications

• Provide high quality occupational therapy interventions autonomously.
• Assess and treat patients; provide education sessions.
• Provide assistive devices (orthotics and prosthetics) and home adaptations.
• Work across hospital wards, outpatient departments and patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Work in specialties across Barts Health NHS Trust including respiratory and critical care, acute admissions, neurosciences and stroke, trauma and orthopaedics, cancer services and hand therapy.
