Job summary

Rotational Occupational Therapist role with the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, based in Oldham/Salford area. You will conduct holistic OT assessments and deliver interventions across acute and community settings, including vascular, colorectal, medicine, orthopaedics, trauma, IMC and stroke, collaborating with the MDT to support rehabilitation and discharge planning.

• Provide autonomous assessments and interventions for own designated caseload with supervision for more complex needs.
• Maintain clinical responsibility for own caseload and delegated tasks.
• Be aware of limitations and seek senior support when required.
• Provide support and training for junior staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Carry out holistic Occupational Therapy assessments and treatments.
• Work across acute and community settings (vascular, colorectal, medicine, orthopaedics, trauma, IMC, stroke).
• Collaborate with MDT to achieve rehabilitation goals and facilitate discharge.
• Operate seven days a week with some weekend work as part of the role.
• Be supervised by Band 6/7 OT leads and engage in professional development.
