Country Inn Pet Resort & Animal Hospital in Davie, FL is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our family-owned practice. You’ll provide medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals, working with an experienced team in a collaborative, relationship-centered environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain before employment.
• Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostics.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using current medical standards.
• Provide preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
• Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, preventive healthcare, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records using AVImark.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care.
• Perform routine surgical procedures appropriate to experience and comfort level.
• Practice compassionate, low-stress patient handling when possible.
• Uphold the hospital’s commitment to medical excellence and client service.
