Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain before employment.
• Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented attitude and commitment to compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostics.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using current medical standards.
• Provide preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
• Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, preventive healthcare, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using AVImark software.
• Collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Perform routine surgical procedures appropriate to your experience and comfort level.
• Practice compassionate, low-stress patient handling whenever possible.
• Uphold the hospital’s commitment to medical excellence, professionalism, and outstanding client service.
