Joby Aviation seeks an Autonomous Aircraft Systems Engineering Manager to lead a group of systems engineers across our autonomous programs. You will translate mission objectives into technical requirements, define high-level system architecture, and ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.

Qualificações

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience developing safety-critical vehicles.
• Thorough understanding of systems engineering concepts and methods.
• Excellent interpersonal communication across disciplines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Derive, allocate, and track technical requirements from top-level goals to subsystems; create ICDs.
• Define and analyze system architecture; develop ConOps and perform trade studies.
• Execute the V&V strategy across all systems; develop test plans and cases.
• Identify technical risks; develop mitigation strategies and plans.
• Lead technical trade studies and analyses; define milestone criteria.
• Develop and own the systems engineering process on flight programs.
• Mentor and direct a team of systems engineers.
