Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. seeks an Agentic Engineer in Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid) to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and LLM-powered applications across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate demonstrates hands-on experience with LLM APIs, multi-agent tool integration, MCP, and cloud deployment, with a proven portfolio of personal projects or open-source contributions. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proof of Capability: Personal projects, GitHub repos, or open-source contributions demonstrating AI apps or agents.
• LLM & Agent Experience: Hands-on with LLM APIs and agent loops (tool calling, memory, reasoning).
• Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with MCP for tool integration.
• Cloud Fluency: Experience deploying apps on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Builder’s Mindset: Curious, ambiguity-tolerant, persistent in solving problems.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous AI agents using LLMs and orchestration frameworks.
• Implement MCP to connect AI models with tools, APIs, and data sources.
• Develop eval pipelines and LLM observability to avoid hallucinations and loops.
• Deploy AI solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Translate complex problems into production-ready code.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge AI tools and papers.
