What you will be doing

  • ZEEKR US is seeking a motivated, well-organized, proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Warranty and Quality Analyst. In this role, your duties include performing warranty returns analysis, confirming root causes, and assisting with reporting requirements to government agencies (NHTSA, CARB, etc.).
  • Partner with Service leadership to identify quality and warranty trends.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in China and Sweden to report quality issues regularly and understand potential technical service bulletins (TSBs), recalls or defects.
  • Ensure warranty returns meet vendor guidelines, so positive financial opportunity is achieved.
  • Review repair orders, analyzing technician stories are accurate for warranty vendor submission and potential customer audits.
  • Work closely with ZEEKR’s Regulatory team and guide government agency reporting.
  • Attending ongoing training and development support to ensure a problem-solving mindset is applied and effectively utilized across Service operations.

What Skills & Experiences You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Certificate program in Automotive Technology, or the equivalent work experience.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability to teach and coach Service staff on effectively writing a story on a repair order.
  • Proactive, flexible, confident, professional, and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys working independently.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and serve as a partner/consultant to Service leadership and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem-solving warranty and/or quality activities and initiatives.
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of Recalls/Campaigns and ability to supply data to vendors and/or Regulatory team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated confidence and professionalism while communicating.
  • Able to expertly use a full suite of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical demands of verifying a faulty part.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally to China.
  • Understanding of warranty terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail automotive dealership setting as a warranty administrator and/or quality assurance inspector.
  • Strong automotive system repair knowledge required.
  • Experience with electric vehicles.
  • ASE Certification & HV battery training and certification.

This position can be considered for Remote work, but is preferred to be based in Arizona, California, or Michigan.
