Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a litigation attorney.
• Admitted to the California bar.
• Discovery and law and motion experience.
• Experience with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
• State and federal court experience.
• Experience in aviation, products liability, or automotive warranty is ideal.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.
• Superior writing and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations as required
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, legal correspondence, and litigation documents
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis and draft memoranda
• Prepare status reports and recommendations to clients
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation
• Work on all aspects of litigation from the initial responsive pleading through trial
• Represent airlines, airports, municipalities, automotive manufacturers, government contractors, retailers, manufacturers, and insurers in litigation matters
