Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Los Angeles seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its automotive product liability and warranty practice. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, is highly motivated, and possesses excellent writing skills for discovery and motion practice.

A juris doctor and admission to the California bar are required, with state and federal court experience. The candidate will handle all aspects of litigation through trial, working independently and collaboratively

• Familiarity with California Lemon Law and related warranty acts.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions, argue motions, and participate in hearings.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and client recommendations.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from pleadings to trial.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its automotive product liability and warranty litigation practice in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, be highly motivated, and possess excellent writing skills. They should be capable of acting independently throughout the discovery process and assisting in trial.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.


• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.


• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.


• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.


• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.


• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleading through trial.

Requirements

• Admitted to the CA bar.


• Experience with discovery and law and motion.


• Familiarity with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.


• State and federal court experience.


• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education
