Role Overview: GSE Mechanic III

Your primary responsibility will be repairing and maintaining motorized and non-motorized Ground Support Equipment (GSE). You will perform advanced maintenance and repairs on various ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Exceed customer service expectations
• Follow safety practices and company standards
• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid, and compressed air
• Log repairs and describe work performed
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, or modify engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bumpers, bodywork, towing equipment, undercarriages, wheels, tires, and related components
• Replace components such as carburetors, filters, ignition parts
• Adjust valves, bearings, clutches, drive shafts
• Diagnose issues using test equipment and manuals
• Operate and test ground equipment
• Complete paperwork and track parts

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Legal to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 6 years verified experience
• Own tools and toolbox
• Reliable attendance
• Effective communication skills in English
• Proficient with electronic devices
• Valid State Driver’s License with a safe driving record
• Pass background and drug screening
• Ability to obtain necessary credentials (FAA, TSA, etc.)
• Flexible to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays

Physical and Working Conditions
