Description: We are hiring Automotive Transmission Technicians / Mechanics.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and identify work needed on various vehicles
  • Perform adjustments, calibrations, fluid replenishment, disassembly, reassembly, and repairs or replacements of parts
  • Use independent judgment to make decisions
  • Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies
  • Road test vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment. Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce vibration and force. Standing and walking are required throughout the shift. Frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling are necessary to access vehicle parts. Lifting, pushing, and pulling weights from 20 to 100 pounds may occasionally be required.

  • Mechanical or technical experience at a dealership or large independent shop
  • Ability to provide and maintain current hand and power tools
  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required
  • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record
