Job summary

Jim Hudson Ford is seeking Transmission Technicians to join our busy service team. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, a positive work environment, and opportunities for advancement. Walk-in applicants are welcome as we continue to grow to meet customer demand.

We seek experienced technicians with a strong work ethic and professional attitude. Candidates should be able to diagnose, repair, and test transmissions across a range of vehicles, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Professional attitude and appearance required.
• OEM dealership experience and/or certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive Technician experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair transmission systems in various vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transmissions
• Install new transmission components and systems
• Test and adjust transmissions to ensure proper operation
• Performing factory recalls and customer satisfaction programs
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Meet the dealership's standards for repair order production
