Job summary

Jim Hudson Ford is seeking Transmission Technicians to join a busy, state-of-the-art service team. We offer walk-in applicants welcome, guaranteed pay during training, and a strong career path in a multi-franchise dealer group.

You will diagnose and repair transmissions, perform maintenance, and participate in recalls and customer satisfaction programs. Equal opportunity employer; background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Professional attitude and appearance required.
• OEM dealership experience and/or certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive Technician experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair transmission systems in various vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transmissions
• Install new transmission components and systems
• Test and adjust transmissions to ensure proper operation
• Performing factory recalls and customer satisfaction programs
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Meet the dealership's standards for repair order production
