Job summary

Octane Lending is seeking a Title Specialist I to support title management activities and assist in research and follow-up on perfected title status. You will work with deal partners, DMV interactions, and title suppliers to ensure accurate and timely responses.

The role emphasizes data entry, documentation, and customer communication, with possible overtime and a focus on compliance and accuracy in all title-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in vehicle title management.
• Experience in auto finance or installment loan with focus in title management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with Dealertrack or F&I Express is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform title management tasks and assist in lien perfection processes.
• Maintain regular follow-up with dealerships for lien perfection documents.
• Communicate with internal sales teams and dealer network.
• Review and remediate title issues and exceptions.
• Document and organize records securely and accurately.
• Field inbound/outbound title questions from dealers/customers.
• Create 2+ job aids for team processes.
