Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships seeks an organized Title Clerk to handle vehicle titling and registration across our dealership group. You will ensure the paperwork is accurate, compliant, and timely, protecting the store from penalties and keeping customers on track.

Ideal candidates have DMV/registration experience, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of Texas titling requirements. You will work with DMS platforms and office software in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive title clerk or DMV/registration experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Texas titling and registration requirements a plus.
• Familiarity with DMS platforms and general office software.
• Highly organized, dependable, and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Process titles, registrations, and tax/title paperwork accurately on every deal.
• Submit and track title work with state and lienholders, meeting deadlines.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of deal documentation before processing.
• Maintain organized records and follow up on outstanding titles and missing documents.
• Resolve title issues and communicate with sales, customers, and lenders.
• Process out-of-state and dealer-trade titles accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with Texas titling laws, fees, and timelines.
