Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Biller / Title Clerk to process car deals and prepare DMV title documents. You will handle registration, CVR processing, and verify liens and funds before title issuance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and office clerical experience. Automotive dealership background is preferred but training is provided. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have basic clerical and organizational abilities.
• Experience with DMV/title processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the DMV.
• Verifies funds and lien payoff before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in applications and ensures completeness.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trades.
• Maintains records of title work and reports status to management.
• Prepares invoices and credits as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
