Job summary

Big O Tires is seeking an Automotive Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels with accuracy and timeliness. You should be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and stay motivated in a busy shop.

You will mount and dismount tires, install wheels, balance wheels, rotate tires, and calibrate TPMS, along with oil changes and routine maintenance. The role supports a team-focused, safety-conscious environment with continuous training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions.
• Complies with PPE regulations.
• Ability to remain standing or driving up to nine hours per shift.
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires
• Installing new wheels
• Attaching and re-balancing wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Performing oil changes or flushes and maintenance
• Calibrating TPMS
• Inventory stocking
• Participating in training and following safety procedures
• Testing and installing batteries
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance
