Job summary

Big O Tires is seeking an Automotive Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels with accuracy and motivation. You will mount, balance, rotate, and inspect tires, perform oil changes, and assist with maintenance tasks as needed.

Candidate must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work holidays and after hours. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires.
• Installing new wheels.
• Attaching and re-balancing wheels.
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
• Performing oil changes or other maintenance tasks.
• Calibrating TPMS.
• Inventory stocking and organization.
• Participating in training and following safety procedures.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance.
