Bosch USA is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our R&D facility in Waltham, MA. You will join a team of engineers exploring advanced developments for automotive thermal systems and related product areas.

Responsibilities include designing, prototyping, testing, and applying measurement techniques to quantify performance while leveraging CAD/FEA and other design tools. A BS in engineering and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, aeronautical or ocean engineering; laboratory or hands-on experience preferred.
• Hands-on approach with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.
• Knowledge of CAD, FEA, injection molding, machining, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products for automotive thermal systems.
• Apply new air moving technologies to project work.
• Develop and improve in-house design and application tools.
• Design experiments and apply measurement technologies to quantify performance.
• Design, prototype, and test new designs.
