Job summary

Carrix, Inc./SSA Marine, Inc. is seeking an Auto Lot Manager in Long Beach, CA to oversee all RoRo and automotive cargo activities, including gate, yard, vessel, and rail operations. The role also serves as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) ensuring MTSA, FSP, and Coast Guard compliance.

You will lead labor planning, provide leadership and development for supervisory staff, and manage environmental compliance programs and pollution prevention efforts to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or maritime-related field or 5+ years of work experience in transportation/maritime operations.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating labor, equipment, and facilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety, MTSA, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily automotive and RoRo cargo operations including gate, yard, vessel, and rail activities.
• Plan and optimize labor, equipment, and facility resources to meet schedules and budgets.
• Lead supervisory staff, assign work, set priorities, and monitor performance.
• Ensure MTSA compliance and act as Facility Security Officer (FSO).
• Collaborate with customers, vessel operators, and terminal stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo execution.
