Job summary

Nashua Community College seeks qualified individuals to teach Automotive Technology on a course-by-course basis. Adjunct appointments are temporary and require on-campus instruction. The program anticipates instructors in Automotive Heating and Air Conditioning, with classes on weekdays.

Strong organizational and diagnostic skills are desired, and ASE/industry certifications are valued. Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in Automotive Technology and 5 years of technician

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automotive Technology is required.
• 5 years of experience as a technician is required.
• Industry certifications such as Vehicle Manufacturer, ASE, and Aftermarket are preferred.
• ASE Master Certification A1-A8 or the ability to obtain certification in areas teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-campus Automotive Technology courses on weekdays.
• Instruct in Air Conditioning and Heating subject areas as part of the program.
• Possess strong organizational and diagnostic skills to support student learning.
