Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis is seeking an Adjunct - Industrial Technology to deliver courses on a part-time basis. The role focuses on effective instruction, assessment, and engagement within the framework of standard syllabi.

Candidates should be prepared to adapt lesson plans and utilize available technology to support student success. The Adjunct will maintain records, participate in proctored assessments, and collaborate with the Department/Program Chair to ensure alignment

Qualifications

• A qualified faculty member meets the education component of the discipline standard through one of three routes.
• Possesses specialized certifications or credentials for the class per COR and related experience.
• Possesses a current Workplace Specialist License or equivalent credentials per COR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades and other requirements.
• Engage with students proactively to create a positive learning experience.
• Demonstrate teaching strategies that engage students with their learning.
• Interact professionally with students and co-workers and comply with policy.
