Qualifications

• Must meet the education component of the School of Technology discipline standard.
• Possesses specialized certifications or credentials required for the class as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience directly linked to COR competencies.
• Workplace Specialist License issued by the Indiana Department of Education with required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and meet all scheduled sessions.
• Provide syllabus appropriate to the course being taught and follow syllabus content and requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time and assist as needed.
• Use learning technologies such as Canvas and PowerPoint as appropriate.
• Notify department chair in case of emergency absence.
• Promote inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds among students and staff.
