Job summary

Honda of Middleburg Heights is hiring entry-level automotive technicians/ mechanics for our expanded facility. The role involves routine inspections, diagnostic work, brake and fluid repairs, and tire-related tasks while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of automotive service experience, a valid driver’s license, and a tech school background. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, 401K, paid time off, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year automotive service experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Tech school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles.
• Diagnose system issues and perform repairs (brakes, fluids, alignments, tires).
• Document all work on repair orders and report safety issues.
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards during tasks.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely guest care during shifts.

• Excellent Opportunity to someone starting their career and looking to advance in the industry
• Great for the tech with basic Oil & Filter, Maintenance, Diagnostic experience hoping to grow their skill set
• Position involves routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Promote teamwork to deliver times and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing,bending, and squatting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 Year Automotive Service Technician Experience Required
• Valid Drivers License
• Tech School Graduate is ideal candidate
