Job summary

Berman Kia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our service team in Lincolnwood, IL. Full-time position with a pay scale of $20.50 - $47.50/hr based on experience, ASE certifications, and training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, performing complex engine/transmission work, inspections, and reporting findings to service advisors. We offer company-paid ASE certifications, manufacturer training and travel, tool insurance, PTO,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting required.
• ASE Certifications
• Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.
• Understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, brakes).
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
