Berman Kia in Lincolnwood, IL is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our service team. This full-time role offers comprehensive paid ASE certifications, manufacturer training, tool insurance, and a competitive PTO plan.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, testing, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, inspections, and following brand standards. We value teamwork, safety, and ongoing skill development in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• Atleast 3 years of experience in automotive repair.
• ASE Certifications are required or preferred.
• Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on work is essential.
• Understanding of engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and brakes.

Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Scale: $20.50 - $47.50/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, test and troubleshootmechanical and electrical issues.
• Workon complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are performed according to brand standards and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to continue advancing technical skills and obtain higher certifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
